Bring a piece of Japanese folk-art history into your home with this unique vintage Japanese handled ceramic bud vase. Personally sourced from the Oedo Antique Market in Tokyo, this charming small piece bridges the gap between a traditional sake pitcher (tokkuri) and a rustic, single-stem flower vase (ichirinzashi).

Standing at a delicate 11cm tall, it features a gorgeous green glaze that pools organically around the flared 3cm rim and tiny loop handle, flowing into a crackled cream stoneware body. Hand-painted iron-brown brushstrokes adorn the sides, showcasing the effortless, natural beauty of Japanese studio pottery.

Perfectly scaled for a single delicate stem, dried wildflower, or displayed on its own as a small-space accent, it makes a soulful addition to a minimalist shelf, desk, or bedside table.

Condition: Lovely vintage condition. Features some small chips on the outer rim and bottom (visible in photos) which speak to its age and authentic, lived-in story. Hand wash only.
