Formerly known as Toka Ceramics, Senju Living has grown from a small ceramics-focused shop into a broader expression of Japanese craftsmanship and everyday living. While ceramics remain at the heart of what we do, our collection now extends to tea, textiles, incense, and other objects designed to be used and enjoyed as part of daily life.

We are a small, family-run business based in Milton on the NSW South Coast. Our aim has always been simple: to curate pieces that are both beautiful and practical — items made with care, intention, and a deep respect for materials and process. Each piece in our collection is selected for its craftsmanship, character, and place in everyday life.

The name Senju (千手) means “a thousand hands.” It reflects the many people involved along the way — from those who make and handle each piece, to the moment it becomes part of your everyday life. It is a gentle reminder that everyday objects carry the time, care, and intention of the people behind them.
