Named after the Japanese word for moss, the Koke bowl captures the quiet beauty of nature through its organic glaze. Each piece reflects yohen—the kiln’s unpredictable transformations—resulting in a truly unique finish.

Handcrafted by Shinkougama in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, this bowl brings a grounded elegance to any table or interior space.

For over 1,300 years, Mino ware has been at the heart of Japanese ceramic making. Today it produces more than half of all ceramics in Japan, blending time-honoured traditions with modern techniques. What makes Mino ware unique is its diversity - rather than a single style, it encompasses more than 15 distinct types, each officially recognised as a traditional craft.

All of our products are handcrafted/hand finished. Therefore there may be variations in colour, texture, shape and some imperfections. We truly believe these add character to each piece and what make them unique.

In the situation where the item you receive is faulty, you will be entitled to a refund or exchange. Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to be processed.
