The Rinka series is crafted by Kaneko Kohyo, a family-run kiln in Gifu Prefecture.

Inspired by the soft curves of flower petals, each piece balances elegance with everyday functionality. Made from porcelain, a specialised finishing technique is used to create a warm, earthy surface that resembles pottery, while retaining the durability and strength of porcelain.

The subtly textured finish enhances its handcrafted character, adding a gentle, natural presence to the table and making it well suited to modern, everyday dining.

Tenugui Care Guide

Since the edges are left uncut, there may be some fraying at the beginning of use, but it will naturally settle over time.
Hand washing with water is generally sufficient.
Avoid using detergents containing fluorescent agents or bleach, soaking in water for extended periods, or exposing to direct sunlight as these may cause fading.
Be cautious of using a hot iron, as it may also cause discoloration.
