Rich in colour and texture, this handcrafted Mino ware rice bowl is finished in a deep green traditional Oribe glaze with earthy brown areas breaking through the surface. Subtle ridges and glaze variation give the bowl a tactile, expressive character from every angle.

Sourced individually in Toki, Japan, its gently flared form and raised foot are beautifully suited to rice or side dishes. The irregularities in the glaze and surface are part of what makes this particular piece unique.

Two bowls are available, each listed separately due to differences in glaze and markings. See Oribe Mino Ware Rice Bowl no.1 for the other piece.
