A rich glaze in deep indigo and earthy tones gives this mug a bold yet balanced presence.
The gosu glaze creates soft transitions and natural variation across the surface.

The natural clay base is left exposed at the bottom, adding a warm, tactile contrast to the layered glaze above.

Variations in tone, pattern and glaze finish occur during the firing process, resulting in each mug having its own unique character — no two pieces are exactly the same.

Handcrafted by Shotoen, in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

Please note that the mug may show small marks, cracks, unevenness or natural variations in the clay. These occur during the making and firing process and do not affect everyday use.
